Reflect and Share Questions
are intended primarily to evoke dialogue about the readers' own experiences, and about their findings from researching the Scripture passages listed throughout the Study Guide. The following thoughts are provided strictly as an aid to facilitate further group discussion.
- Iñigo experienced first-hand the people's superstitious fear, which had been the cause of the skunk tribe's years of isolation. Genuine compassion would not go unnoticed in this dark place.
- There are a few examples in the Book of Acts of one-on-one ministry, such as Philip and the Ethiopian. However, we would be hard pressed to find a Superman action figure anywhere in the New Testament. We see all significant outreach efforts being accomplished by teams.
- Words may be a useful tool, but godly deeds are often more effective. (1 Corinthians 2:4)
- Argument often has little effect on the unregenerate mind but to beget more argument. None of us can see things from God's perspective till He comes in and renews our mind. (1 Corinthians 2:14)
